US Tank Alliance, Inc. began in 2001 when two similar underground storage tank companies merged, with additional backing from an environmental services firm. With a handful of employees and three regional hubs, the company began an aggressive move to stake its claim on the underground storage tank testing and cleaning market.
Co-founder Fernando Crosa, who initially held a minority share of the business, led the company’s Midwest region to become its most profitable sector. Three years later, Crosa bought out his partners, and acquired 100 percent ownership.
US Tank Alliance is one of only three national companies in the business and is the only one that is minority-owned. The company has relationships with large corporations including BP, Marathon, Shell, Murphy Oil USA, Sunoco and Speedway SuperAmerica.
In 2007, US Tank Alliance added lighting maintenance and waste disposal to its line of services. With these new services, businesses no longer have to hire multiple contractors to handle their lighting maintenance and waste disposal needs, giving US Tank Alliance the capacity and reach to offer companies the convenience of only dealing with one contractor across the span of many regions.
Today, from its corporate headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, and regional offices in Ohio, Florida, Massachusetts, Louisiana and Arizona, US Tank Alliance is positioned among the top testing, cleaning and maintenance companies in the world. The company continues to increase its annual revenue and its market share throughout the United States.
